Dude, the Halloween Podcast is gonna be hardcore!

Nathan and I are working on the Halloween podcast right now. The script is 100% complete, pre-production is done, and we are in the process of recording the vocals.

Laurence Simon, the very talented blogger and voice of Tinkerbell the smart-aleck talking cat, has told me that he will be recording his vocals using all-new equipment for the Pure Idiom Halloween podcast. Laurence is also going to provide the voice for a hillarious new character that's sure to get us in trouble with the ADL: Shmuley, the Scribe to the Elders of Zion.

I don't think Laurence has actually purchased the new equipment yet and with the amount of time it takes to edit these podcasts into a sweet hit of sonic candy, that potential hit on our schedule sorta scares me.

Then again, it is Halloween. I can handle a little scary...

...speaking of scary: Some may ask "Why Alice Cooper? Why not have Bruce Campbell back for Halloween?" The answer, might surprise you!

The reason why is because I didn't think about having Bruce Campbell in the Halloween podcast until you just mentioned it. You're right, that is a good idea.

Alice Cooper will figure heavily into the plot of the Pure Idiom Halloween podcast, much more than Bruce Campbell figured into the Pure Idiom pilot podcast. I'm not saying Alice Cooper is the emotional lynchpin of the story the way he was in his guest shot on The Muppet Show, but we give him more to do than offer advice on using the Impossibility Engine.

Trust me, the Pure Idiom Halloween podcast is gonna be hardcore. We'll have it ready just in time for you to put it on your iPod and listen to it while you're trick or treating Monday October 31.

I don't think Scott means to infer that Alice Cooper will actually be a part of the upcoming podcast, only that we've written him in as a character and will be doing a very poor impersonation (and I swear, if McCollum uses the word "hardcore" once more time . . .).

Shmuley, the Scribe to the Elders of Zion?

That's wrong. So wrong. Really. Now a jester, that's kewl. But a Scribe? That's just gay.

Don't hate Cream Puff!

I know where you work, dude. You might act on the message board, but I know you have Pure Idiom Podcast on your iPod (because I gave you a CD of it last week).
