"Up and Away! (Hurricane Bruce)": Part 2

Part Two of Episode One is now available for download. The file is a bit larger as the podcast is several minutes longer (Part One was 14 minutes, and Part Two runs just over 18 and a half minutes). Again, the podcast contains language which some may find objectionable.

Click here to Listen to "Up and Away! - Hurrican Bruce: Part 2". (by clicking on the hyper-linked title). Notice: the podcast contains language which some may find objectionable (although, obviously, we don't . . . ).

Part Two finds Nathan and Scott stranded in Hurricane ravaged New Orleans, where they meet up with looters and get fired upon by the Coast Guard because they're not rich and Republican enough. We also review Bruce Campbell's audiobook, "Make Love the Bruce Campbell Way" and explain how our listeners can win a free, autographed version of the audiobook for themselves. All contest entries must be received by October 31st, and winners will be announced November 1st.

The Pure Idiom Podcast can also be downloaded from Apple's iTunes, as well as other podcast hosting venues. Enjoy!

And just for the sake of reiteration -- five lucky listeners can win a signed copy of Bruce Campbell's audiobook by sending us an email at pureidiom@spamarrest.com and telling us, in less than three hundred words, just why you think you deserve to be a winner. The top five emails will be posted on our website, and the winners will receive Campbell's audiobook package via snail-mail.

We look forward to hearing from you, and thanks for listening.

Hey, pod people? Have you e-mailed us your reasons why you should win the Bruce Campbell audiobook? You should probably do that right now.

And let me know if any of you would like a single download version of our first Pure Idiom Podcast "Up and Away! (Hurricane Bruce)" for your iPods.

I would think this would be especially beneficial for those with iPod Shuffles and might hear Part 2 of Pure Idiom followed by six random songs and then hear Part 1...

...this ain't "Memento" and you should listen to Pure Idiom in chronological order.

Oh, and "Memento" su-u-u-u-u-u-u-ucked!

Wooo. I've gotten too many podcasts now, I didn't realize there was a new episode (or part-episode). I'll be listening to it on the subway...

OK, boys. You got me.

I have a mental list of "favorite sounds" (strange, I know, but it works for me) that always make me laugh. I think I'm going to have to add "Scott's screaming" to that list. I just started part 2, and I cant's stop giggling every time I hear Scott's "WAAAAAH".

You're in luck, Deb. The Halloween podcast, "Night of the Living Left," will feature a lot more screaming.

It's good screaming... trust us.

Some people just get it
